Just as I was starting to catch my breath from all the releases Dandy Boy Records has unleashed upon the world this year, I get hit with another banger that takes my breath away. Sacramento’s Motorcycle released the first single off their upcoming record, due to drop September 4th on the aforementioned label. This is my introduction to the band and from what I’ve been able to find, in addition to the latest single, this band rips. Motorcycle have a distinct sound, either profiled as synth or alt-pop but however the band is defined, they make incredible music which the label describes as “90s alternative guitar rock and classic pop punk mixed with 2010s maximalist radio pop anthems”. I highly recommend checking them out.
