East LA’s Tropa Magica are back with a new single Lentes Oscuros and will feature on the upcoming LP titled Baila Tus Tristezas. The new album will release on the always excellent Greenway Records and is available for pre-order here. I first learned about Tropa Magica from last year’s Off-Beat Music Festival and I fell in love with their brand of psychedelic cumbia. Seeing them live was an experience like no other. I had zero expectations going into their set but was completely floored by how damn good and wild the band was on stage. I’ve been a huge fan ever since.
