After four years of waiting, one of my all-time favorites bands are back with a new single and album, “Vidrig Vår” set to drop later this year on September 24th. The first album I picked up from them was “4” which was an incredible album that I listened to nonstop for almost a year. To me, it was one of those perfect albums where everything flowed and hit perfectly. This record followed up the wild psychedelic sounds of “Tio Bitar” and “Ta Det Lungt”. From the tone of this latest single, it’s sounding more in line with “4” as their more recent records have been chilled out and mellow efforts (besides the experimental soundtrack they recorded in “Haxan”). Last year’s single, the excellent psych heavy Snurra På Hjulet is also listed on the album tracklist which I am happy to see.
