Isn’t That What You Wanted? is the latest track from longtime Reno singer/songwriter Spencer Kilpatrick with his band, The Sand Gators. The group formed around 2024 and have been fairly prolific since with a slew of singles and EPs released, with Jade EP being their most recent. Their style is fresh take on folk, Americana, R&B, soul, with elements of jazz and blues which all blend together to give the band their signature, upbeat sound. Kilpatrick is back by several talented Reno musicians with Rachael McElhiney on saxophone and percussion, Dani Taylor on bass, keyboardest Alex Lemnah and Zach Peach on drums with all members providing backup vocals.
Spencer Kilpatrick and The Sand Gators are set to play The Holland Project May 7th with locals Church Ladies in support of Twen. Tickets can be found here
