March 6th was the opening of a very cool pop-up art and music gallery at the Serva Pool at The Holland Project. I wasn’t able to attend the opening party but did make it out this morning to see the art installations. The art was curated by Reno-based artists and hairstylists Starla MacLellan and Andrea Hansen, where all the art on display were created by local hairstylists, with inspiration coming from the history of New York “Club Kid” culture and the film “Party Monster”. Below are several of the pieces on display.
