Solar Flora come from South Lake Tahoe, about 30-40 minutes away From Reno and very close by which is awesome because this is an incredible band. I first saw them play back in December 2025 opening for CDMX’s Mint Field and I was blown away by their sound and live performance. The band have a handful of singles and an EP released so far, with Let It Spill their most recent. Solar Flora produce tracks full of hazy shoegaze mixed with alt-rock. Definitely a band on my radar and hopefully can see live again soon.
