Let Me Go Of You from Reno’s Ranger comes from their 80’s post-punk infused album titled You Don’t Have to Be Anyone, released in 2025. For someone who never really gelled with 80’s music in general (I have my favorites, don’t get me wrong. I could listen to The Cure, The Smiths and Joy Division all day long) there is something about this album that pulls me in. Reno News & Reviews recently ran an excellent interview with the band and it’s definitely worth a read. The band recently played at Lo-Bar Social opening for Analogue Dog and will soon be off to Treefort Fest this March.
