So cool to see Packaging performing and sound fantastic on KEXP. I saw Seattle’s Packaging last October during Reno’s Off Beat Music Festival, which so happened to be the band’s first ever performance. The day prior of the fest, lead vocalist/guitarist Danial Lyon performed with his other band Spirit Award right after keyboardist Connor Birch’s Flaural, with both bands sounding incredible. Maybe I wasn’t paying much attention to the festival’s notes in the lead up to the date but to see both bands come together the following day and play an incredible set was something special.
