I got to see Charity Kiss over the weekend opening for Frankie and the Witch Fingers and I was completely blown away. Incredible band to see live, they play with an energy and nuance of a group that has been around for decades. Another group posted today that met and formed during their high school years, Charity Kiss and been around the Reno music scene for some time now. Their album Slackademic was released last February and they seamlessly blend genres to create an album that keeps you guessing what the next track will sound like. “Scrappy desert rock” I think sums them up quite nicely.
