This past Thursday saw the release of a new EP titled “Gimmy Soupbone” from Reno’s Evening Spirits. The three tracks that feature on the EP are some of my favorites when I’ve seen them performed live and I found it hard to pick just one track to feature for today’s post. The quality of the EP is that strong. “Gimmy Soupbone” see’s the band refining and polishing their infectious brand of indie-surf rock, creating a sound that I haven’t come across that often within the local Reno music scene. My only complaint is that I selfishly wanted it to be longer as I could have this band’s music playing all day long.
