Los Angeles surf/punk rockers Road Trip released a new EP titled “Tower Twelve” at the end of May and it’s a phenomenal collection of songs about financial frustrations, love and finding the simple moments in life that make us happy. The first four tracks fly by at a frantic, head bopping pace before slowing down with my favorite song on the EP in Daydream, which features acoustic guitar and ambient keys. “Tower Twelve” is the follow up to the band’s debut LP released last year which can be found here and I highly recommend giving a listen as well.
The band will be touring through Reno on July 2nd at The Holland Project with local support from The Zines and The Ideals. Tickets can be found here. Tower Twelve can be streamed here.
