When I learned about Noah Linker, I found out he plays in several other bands around Reno, Faint Shape being one of them. Their sound is pure indie rock, with fantastic jangly guitars, smooth basslines and vocals which combine to create wonderful melodies and blissful tracks. French Cadet is their most recent single, released early December of 2025, but going through their Bandcamp the band have released several singles in addition to a s/t LP in the summer of 2024 in addition to an EP titled Trash released later that Fall.
The band have been busy lately and have played a handful of shows the last few months, their most recent with Sacramento’s Oh Lonesome Ana. The band are due to play next at The Holland Project May16th in support of Atlanta’s Lunar Vacation along with locals Solar Flora. Find tickets here
