[Local] Serendipity – Slow Motion

Originally formed back in 2024 in Truckee, CA (about a 45 minute drive from Reno), what started out as two friends coming together to make music has now turned into a fully fleshed indie-pop quartet. Serendipity’s sound is familiar to my ears; I’m taken back to 2008-2010 with all-female groups like Vivian Girls & Grass Widow with some La Sera thrown in (ok, I’m probably reminded the most by anything Katy Goodman had produced during this era). Their sound, from what I’ve found online, is sweet and bright; highly infectious with wonderful vocals and melodies. I’m looking forward to hearing more tracks from this talented group.

Serendipity recently opened for Suzie True and Cassie Ramone on April 3rd at Holland Project and will be performing again this Friday at Greenhouse for the amazingly themed Clown Around with Pussy Velour and Overcast.
