I learned about Los Angeles’ Road Trip through Instagram and I am a huge fan of the surf/punk band. Last year saw the release of their debut album Off Duty Millionaire and it is definitely worth a listen. Whereas the album leans into fast paced punk, their new single Pizza & TV slows it down some, more lo-fi surf rock and a style of music I have a soft spot for. The track is about just wanting to chill out, spending time with your favorite person eating pizza and watching your favorite shows. In these chaotic times, I think this is all something we all need.
